The extremely popular exhibition of this summer, 'Ice and Snow Festival - White Fairy Tale,' kicked off in Kaohsiung's Pier-2 Art Center on June 14. The exhibition presents classic scenes from six world-famous fairy tales such as Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Treasure Island, The Ugly Duckling, and Snow White in a dreamy atmosphere of sub-zero temperatures. Visitors can experience activities like wandering in ice houses, having snowball fights, and enjoying attractions like bumper boats on ice and thrilling ice slides, creating a mesmerizing winter wonderland. The exhibition also showcases impressive ice sculptures crafted by Taiwan's ice carving master Wu Ting-guo, including the first ice pirate ship in Taiwan, giant ice castles, and sub-zero ice houses. Visitors have the opportunity to admire the magical ice sculptures up close, snap photos in picturesque spots resembling scenes from white fairy tales, and enjoy various challenging and fun-filled experiences at the Ice and Snow Festival until September 8 in Kaohsiung.
