Beauty Salon Faces Warning Notice for Refusing Refunds to High Spenders

A beauty salon in the Miaodong commercial district in Taichung City has been involved in numerous consumer disputes leading to an increase in cases. The Taichung City Government has made amendments to the Consumer Protection Law, transforming warning notices into physical form to be displayed at the business premises. If no improvements are made within a deadline, the notice will be posted at the shop entrance, with fines of up to 100,000 NT$, aiming to protect consumers.
