Reported about 1 year ago
A female insurance agent (referred to as Little Flower) was assaulted by seafood merchant Mr. Guo at a motel in Kaohsiung and initially hesitated to press charges due to embarrassment. However, Mr. Guo persistently harassed her with dozens to hundreds of messages and calls daily over a span of several months, leading her to finally report him. The court sentenced Mr. Guo to 3 years and 10 months in prison for violating the victim's sexual autonomy. Despite claiming the encounter was consensual, evidence and messages from Mr. Guo to the victim post-assault proved otherwise, with the victim ultimately unable to cope with the incessant harassment.
