Before Turning on the Air Conditioner, Do These 2 Things! Experts: Indoor Cooling Faster, Save 10% on Electricity Each Year

Reported about 1 year ago

As summer arrives in Taiwan, Taiwan Power Company suggests two steps to make air conditioning cool faster and more energy-efficient: allowing hot air to dissipate by opening windows and promoting airflow inside the house before turning on the AC, and regularly cleaning the external casing and filter to maintain efficient cooling and save up to 10% on electricity annually. Setting the AC temperature between 26 to 28 degrees Celsius can also help save 6% more energy for each degree increase.
