Potter King, a prominent internet personality, revealed that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is paying influencers to create videos for cultural unification efforts, with ten Taiwanese internet celebrities set to visit China for filming starting in late July. The CCP has allocated a budget for cultural warfare against Taiwan. Taiwan's national security unit had warned about this as early as February, emphasizing the importance of media literacy and accessing correct information. The CCP has shifted its tactics from using official media to targeting key opinion leaders (KOLs) and Taiwanese influencers, then distributing edited videos through various channels back to Taiwan, highlighting the need for vigilance.
