Lotte Kopecky, the world road race champion, emerged victorious in the 2024 Women's Tour of Britain after leading the race from the first stage. Despite finishing fourth in the final stage, Kopecky secured the overall victory with a 17-second lead. The race saw some unexpected moments, such as Kopecky letting her teammate Majerus pass her at the finish line in what she later described as a 'stupid mistake'. The event concluded with Great Britain finishing in second place in the team standings behind Kopecky's SD Worx-Protime team.
