Bette Nash, known as the world's longest-serving flight attendant, has passed away at the age of 88. American Airlines, her employer, announced her death, noting her nearly 70-year career caring for passengers in the air. Nash began her flight attendant career with Eastern Airlines in 1957 and later moved to American Airlines. She held the title of the world's longest-serving flight attendant, as confirmed by Guinness World Records. Nash died on May 17 after a recent breast cancer diagnosis, still employed with American Airlines at the time.
