Some areas, especially near mountainous areas, river valleys, Taitung, and parts of Hualien, may experience temperatures around 36 degrees or higher. The Central Weather Bureau has issued high-temperature warnings for 16 counties and cities, urging caution. Afternoon rains are forecast for the north, northeast, east, and mountainous regions, with a likelihood of localized heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds. Residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions against heat-related illnesses.
