As the final exams of colleges approach, some schools have released grades. Recently, National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) students received phishing texts from scammers posing as school administrators, falsely claiming that students with two-thirds of courses failed will be expelled and instructed to click a link to sign up for transfer exams. NTNU clarified that there hasn't been a 'two-one' or 'three-two' dropout mechanism for over a decade, warning students not to fall for the scam. The school promptly detected flaws in the texts, such as using '師範大學' instead of the usual '台師大' or 'NTNU,' and urged students to be cautious. The Ministry of Education highlighted the increasing campus phishing incidents, emphasizing the importance of fraud prevention awareness and education.
