Reported 11 months ago

With the recent hot weather, temperatures in Changhua have reached 36 degrees Celsius, with a heat index of 45 degrees, leading to two cases of suspected heatstroke due to high temperatures. A 60-year-old man fainted from the heat, while a 43-year-old Thai woman collapsed while hiking, showing symptoms of acute respiratory failure with a body temperature of 40.9 degrees. Doctors advise avoiding sun exposure between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., which is the strongest time for UV rays, to prevent heatstroke incidents caused by extreme heat.
