A 51-year-old man in Taichung city sought police assistance after suspecting his mother fell victim to fraud when she purchased multiple unlisted stocks and a cemetery plot through an investment scheme promising high profits. With persistent advice from the police and evidence found online, the mother finally realized it was a scam. The police reminded the public to be cautious of fraudulent schemes disguised as legitimate investment opportunities and advised seeking advice from official channels to protect their assets.
