Big Leaf University was granted funding by the Ministry of Education as part of the 'College Student Bilingual Learning Project' for the academic years 112-114, and hosted a 5-day EMI professional teacher training course from June 24 to 28 to enhance the internationalization of the campus. The university plans to promote EMI courses in response to the government's '2030 Bilingual Policy,' fostering an English learning environment, enhancing students' English proficiency through activities and curriculum improvements. The EMI training, in collaboration with the Airborne English Classroom Education Group, covers various areas such as establishing bilingual teaching philosophies, designing effective course activities, integrating technology tools in teaching, practical language application, and supervised teaching trials for participants.
