Bill Gross, the renowned bond investor, stated in an interview with The Financial Times that re-electing Donald Trump as president would have a more negative impact on bond markets, describing it as a "bearish" choice. Gross predicted that a second Trump presidency would lead to higher deficits compared to re-electing President Joe Biden. He highlighted Trump's advocacy for tax cuts and increased spending as factors contributing to this bearish outlook, despite acknowledging Biden's administration's deficit issues. Gross, known as the "Bond King," is the founder of the fixed income giant PIMCO.
