A peculiar murder case occurred in a luxurious mansion in Kaohsiung's Gushan District on July 6, 2024. A mother reported to the Longhua Police Station in the afternoon that a man had died in her home and that her son was behaving abnormally, asking to dispose of a wardrobe. The police, finding the situation suspicious, discovered a dead man folded inside the wardrobe for two days emitting a foul odor. The suspect's mother was brought back to the scene by the police. They immediately arrested a 22-year-old man named Chen who had been living with the victim for 2 to 3 weeks. The initial suspicion was that the case was related to an internal debt dispute within a fraud syndicate, possibly incited by internal conflict. The victim showed signs of being beaten on the back, leading to the suspicion of potential other accomplices.
