Eight Black employees have filed a lawsuit against General Mills, accusing the company of tolerating racism at a suburban Atlanta plant. The employees allege that white managers at the Covington plant favored whites for promotions, subjected Black workers to tougher standards, and engaged in discriminatory behavior. The lawsuit also mentions instances of racist symbols being used to intimidate Black workers. General Mills has not yet responded to the allegations.
