Blackhawks have agreed to re-sign Zach Sanford to a one-year, two-way contract.

The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed forward Zach Sanford to a one-year, two-way contract with a cap hit of $775,000. Sanford, 29, had four assists in 18 games with the Blackhawks this season and also contributed in the AHL. He is expected to spend much of the 2024-25 season with the Rockford IceHogs, providing veteran leadership and being available for call-ups in case of injuries. Sanford has played for seven different NHL teams and was part of the St. Louis Blues' Stanley Cup-winning team in 2019.
