In response to the parliamentary reform bill, President Lai Ching-te and the DPP caucus recently filed for constitutional interpretation and temporary disposition. The Constitutional Court will handle the consolidated cases on the 10th of this month, with all parties able to appoint representatives to attend. The blue camp stated that they would commission professional lawyers, while the DPP caucus convener Ke Chien-ming called for the Secretary-General of the Legislative Yuan, Zhou Wan, to attend, prompting Huang Kuo-chang, convener of the Taiwan People's Party caucus, to question why the DPP, as the applicant for constitutional interpretation, should not abstain.
