During the review of the amendment to the 'Recall Act' at the Internal Affairs Committee, there was a physical dispute between KMT and DPP legislators. People First Party legislator Mai Yu-chen, who attended for about 10 minutes, took a photo with the blue camp legislators before leaving. Mai criticized that the DPP has not learned its lesson from previous conflicts and continues to neglect their duties, implying they are enjoying being 'salary thieves'. She emphasized that while the DPP causes chaos, there are still crucial legislative matters to address, such as amendments to the 'Student Counseling Act' and public hearings on the 'Whistleblower Protection Act'. Mai urged for rational politics and lawmaking, stressing the importance of proper recall procedures to protect citizens' rights. She also pointed out various incidents of recent conflicts between legislators, including physical altercations and accusations.
