On June 21, the parliamentary reform legislation was rejected by the Blue and White coalition in the Legislative Yuan with a vote of 62:51, while outside the parliament, the 'Bluebird Action' was demonstrating. Media personality Huang Yangming estimated the attendance to be around 3,000 to 5,000 people, despite the organizers claiming 20,000 to 30,000. Huang warned against mockery as increased hatred could lead to impeachment. The Bluebird Action ended on the evening of the 21st, and Huang mentioned that the crowd mobilization was not as impactful as expected, indicating a decline in energy towards the anti-parliamentary expansion movement.
