The Kuomintang caucus in the Legislative Yuan is planning to revise the Recall Law and raise the recall threshold in the next session, believed to be an attempt to help Keelung City Mayor Xie Guoliang and blue camp lawmakers navigate the recall wave. However, the Taiwan People's Party caucus leader Huang Kuo-Chang has taken a soft stance, stating that the Recall Law is not a priority for the party caucus. This move has prompted Kuomintang Chairman Eric Chu to come out cautiously, emphasizing that the details of the bill are still under discussion, leaving room for opposition cooperation. The possibility of cross-party collaboration on this issue remains uncertain.
