During a joint meeting of the Legislative Yuan's Transportation Committee and Judiciary and Organic Laws & Statutes Committee, a 'Mirror TV Investigation Task Force' was established with opposition lawmakers walking out in protest. Despite this, members from the Kuomintang and People First Party continued the meeting, confirming the formation of a 'Mirror TV Application and Subsequent Dispute Investigation Task Force' and nominating Kuomintang lawmaker Jacky Wu as the Convenor. This marks the first case investigated by the Legislative Yuan following an amendment to the Legislative Yuan's Exercise of Powers Act, granting the parliament investigation powers.
