Legislative reforms related bills passed the third reading in the Legislative Yuan, and the Executive Yuan raised objections. To counter the Democratic Progressive Party's 'Green Bird Goes to the Countryside' campaign to lobby against expanding parliament powers, the Kuomintang launched the 'Blue Bird Action' as a response.
