On June 21, 2024, Nationalist Party Chairman Eric Chu attended the third wave of democratic reform - parliamentary reform briefing in Taipei. The Nationalist Party launched the Blue Eagle Action yesterday to support blue committee members in rejecting the parliamentary authority amendment reconsideration motion, leading to reports of a rally impacting successful high school students attending classes nearby. Chu stated in an interview that they were sorry for any disruption caused to the students and emphasized that the party immediately turned off the sound to minimize the disturbance. Despite the motion being rejected, the party continued with the parliamentary reform briefing. Chu mentioned the upcoming 104 large-scale public speeches to clarify their ideology, engage with the public, and educate on important legislation like nuclear power extension, the barr-Scal law, or anti-capital punishment.
