The Legislative Yuan is set to vote on parliamentary reform reconsideration tomorrow, prompting blue and green supporters to take to the streets to defend their respective stances. The Kuomintang (KMT) has issued a mobilization order for its legislators to gather at least one hundred supporters outside the Legislative Yuan to support reform and counter the Democratic Progressive Party's (DPP) 'Green Bird Action.' The KMT Chairman, Eric Chu, expressed confidence that all legislators who have the best interests of the Republic of China and Taiwan at heart will uphold their conscience and vote against the reconsideration. Both the KMT and DPP are gearing up for a showdown at the Legislative Yuan as the vote nears.
