The Kuomintang and People First Party legislative caucuses recently passed the Parliament Reform Five Bills with a stacked voting advantage. In response, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) plans to hold explanatory meetings in various cities, with the blue and green camps holding events in Tainan on the 15th in what is set to be a face-off. DPP legislator Guo Guowen criticized the blue camp for using political means to halt the 'Bluebird Action,' prompting KMT legislator Wang Hongwei to demand Guo apologize for forcibly taking documents from Secretary-General Zhou Wanlai. The KMT will hold a series of 22 parliament reform campaign rallies, kicking off in Tainan, with DPP's 'Bluebird Across Taiwan' campaign targeting KMT in an orchestrated move through different cities.
