The Toronto Blue Jays have placed All-Star closer Jordan Romano on the 15-day injured list due to a sore right elbow, with the move retroactive to Thursday. Romano, who missed part of spring training and the beginning of the season due to elbow soreness, had an MRI revealing no structural damage and will be shut down for several days. In his absence, Yimi García and Chad Green will handle closing duties for the team.
