Tzu Chi held a sewing class in Blue Pi Ni where 11 students recently graduated with certificates in cutting and sewing skills. The class, now in its third year, has trained around 30 women, giving them a valuable skillset to support their families. With the support of volunteers and local officials, including the Mayor, the graduation ceremony also featured designs by the students themselves, inspiring confidence in future enrollments. Graduates expressed their aspirations to become fashion designers and start their own businesses, contributing not only to their households but potentially expanding their market abroad.
