The 'Fiscal Allocation Law' will be the next point of contention in the legislature following the 'Parliamentary Reform Bill'. According to the National Policy Foundation, affiliated with the blue camp, the Nationalist Party's version of the fiscal law is the most capable of balancing urban and rural disparities, with estimated beneficiaries set to receive tax revenues up to 300% if passed. The law, unchanged since 1999, has seen majority of tax revenues centralized with the government. Proposed revisions could see significant increases in funding for certain counties and cities, urging bipartisan support for a more equitable distribution of resources.
