During the legislative session from June 19 to June 21, various citizen groups gathered outside the Legislative Yuan in Taipei to protest the amendment of the Legislative Yuan Exercise of Powers Act. The second day of the gathering saw over 8,000 participants on the evening of June 20, with organizers announcing a hope for even more attendees the next day. The event featured protests against controversial proposals put forth by several KMT lawmakers and called for participation in the upcoming vote on the Executive Yuan's revising proposal.
