Reported about 1 year ago

Amid serious clashes caused by the parliamentary reform five bills, the Kuomintang announced plans to start countryside promotions through speeches on the 15th, with the first stop in Tainan City. The Democratic Progressive Party will also hold a rally in Tainan on the same day, sparking a battle between bluebirds and greenbirds. Kuomintang legislator Hsieh Long-chieh expressed that the purpose of the parliamentary reform bills is not to target any specific party but to push for a more progressive legislature where officials do not lie, aiming to eliminate the prevalent collusion between officials and businesses while reducing corruption cases. Hsieh Long-chieh revealed that on the 15th, a morning briefing on the parliamentary reform bills will be held at Longshan Community Park to ensure a more transparent and honest government and fulfill the President's commitment to anti-corruption efforts.
