On June 8, 2024, at 4:10 p.m., BMW's general agent in Taiwan, Pan German officially introduced the new BMW i5 Touring, the only luxury electric touring car in the current electric power market. The BMW i5 Touring includes two models, the i5 eDrive40 Touring M Sport and i5 M60 xDrive Touring, with suggested prices of NT$3.39 million and NT$4.95 million respectively. The vehicle integrates flagship technology like a floating curved screen, BMW cockpit ambient light curtain, and BMW Operating System 8.5 for intuitive image-based operations. It features luxurious elements like M Nappa leather flat-bottom steering wheel, BMW Individual Merino leather, deluxe four-zone automatic climate control, Bowers & Wilkins premium sound system, and premium crystal control package. Alongside, from June 7 to June 10, BMW's general agent Pan German will hold the 'BMW Future Hub Energy Domain' at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei, showcasing the BMW i next-generation electric vehicle lineup and creating a future urban living experience filled with FREUDE for BMW enthusiasts and consumers, coinciding with the launch of the new BMW i5 Touring electric luxury touring car.
