Boeing Company (BA) is reportedly in the early stages of developing a new single-aisle aircraft to succeed the 737 MAX, which faced grounding due to two fatal crashes. The FAA has reinstated Boeing's ability to issue airworthiness certificates for some 737 MAX and 787 models after lifting the grounding order in 2020. Concurrently, the CEO of Boeing has discussed new engine options with Rolls-Royce and has been working on a flight deck design for this upcoming narrow-body plane.
