The CEO of Boeing issued an apology at a US Senate hearing on the company's safety management, following a series of incidents including two fatal crashes involving 737 MAX 8 planes over the past five years, cabin door malfunctions, and the mysterious death of a whistleblower. Senators from both parties sharply questioned Boeing, especially regarding the treatment of whistleblowers, while the CEO admitted there may have been retaliation within the company. Despite promises to improve, relatives of the 346 crash victims expressed anger and demanded accountability from Boeing, as the CEO faced criticism for not resigning immediately.
