Boeing's 2024 Jet Deliveries Hit Lowest Level Since Pandemic

Reported about 13 hours ago

In 2024, Boeing's jet deliveries fell to their lowest level since the COVID-19 pandemic, with a total of 348 commercial jets delivered, a significant decrease from 528 in the previous year. The drop in deliveries is attributed to production delays caused by a labor strike, regulatory scrutiny, and supply chain issues. New orders also plunged to less than half of previous levels, as Boeing continues to face challenges, finishing the year with thousands of unfilled orders while competing against Airbus, which outperformed it in both deliveries and orders.
