Boeing's head of government affairs and top lobbyist, Ziad Ojakli, is leaving the company immediately, as announced by CEO Kelly Ortberg in an email to employees. Ojakli, who took on the role in September 2021, is being replaced temporarily by Bill McSherry. Boeing has been facing scrutiny from U.S. lawmakers following significant incidents and ongoing investigations regarding safety issues, as well as challenges in maintaining its relationship with the government.
