Bank of America Global Research equity and quant strategist Savita Subramanian mentioned that U.S. value stocks are currently trading at low multiples, presenting opportunities for bargain-hunters to purchase high-quality stocks at a discounted price. Subramanian highlighted how value stocks have been undervalued compared to growth stocks this year, with the S&P 500 value index up 4.5% while the growth index rose over 23.5%. She believes that the underperformance of value stocks has made them more attractively priced, with energy sectors being particularly promising due to companies' improved output discipline despite higher commodity prices.
