The woman was instructed to transfer money after a fake police interview through online video call, claiming it was necessary for managing stolen funds. Fortunately, a police deputy director intervened in time, revealing that the 'Channel 8 telephone line' had been obsolete for years, preventing the woman from losing her 400,000 savings. The fraud tactic of using phony police, prosecutors, and court demands for money transfers was exposed, emphasizing the importance of verifying and reporting suspicious calls.
