The pre-sale housing market in Taiwan is booming, with April recording a record-high of 13,800 transactions, marking two consecutive months above 13,000. The total sales amount for pre-sale housing in the first four months of the year reached 790 billion NTD, nearly double the amount from the previous year, reflecting the vibrant buying atmosphere in the market. Sales peaked from September to December 2021, declined due to impending land rights regulation changes, but picked up again in recent months with over 10,000 transactions monthly, indicating a sustained peak in pre-sale housing purchases for over half a year.
