Starting from May, the Labor Insurance Bureau has adjusted the pension payouts for eight annual labor recipients in Taiwan, with an increase ranging from 5.51% to 7.59%, the highest adjustment ever recorded. Approximately 850,000 workers are estimated to benefit from this increase, with the first batch of adjusted payments arriving today (June 27). The Bureau mentioned that the adjustment day, originally scheduled for June 29 and 30, was moved to June 27 due to the weekend. Workers will receive two payments today, reflecting the original amount and the additional payment indicated as a 'price adjustment', to be fully consolidated by July. Despite the adjustment starting in May, workers will see the revised amounts in their accounts by the end of June.
