Following the allocation of 4.9 billion last year to purchase the 'Volcano Mine System' from the US, the Army has sent personnel to the US for training and is expected to deploy them in various corps' engineering camps. In an effort to increase soldiers' willingness to engage in high-risk tasks such as mine laying and explosives, the Ministry of National Defense has recently decided to provide a maximum of 15,000 in an 'Explosive Bonus'. This initiative aims to motivate personnel and enhance morale, especially amid changing battlefield conditions and potential troop reshuffling.
