Premier Su Tseng-chang, along with other executive team members, visited the Shanlun Smart Green Energy Science City in Tainan on June 15, 2024. The Premier expressed plans to promote an 'AI Industry Zone' in Shanlun, focusing on stabilizing power supply and enhancing green energy, establishing data centers and supercomputers, and nurturing AI talents. The goal is to integrate efforts from various government agencies to drive research and development capabilities in Southern Taiwan, with a focus on AI industrialization and application in various fields to benefit society. The initiative aims to build a strong AI research and development hub in the Asia-Pacific region.
