Brazil's Beef Exports to the US Decline Due to New Tariffs

Reported about 4 hours ago

Brazil's beef exports to the United States are expected to further decline in September, dropping to around 7,000 metric tons, down from 9,000 tons in August. This decrease is attributed to the 50% tariffs imposed by President Trump, which have affected Brazil's position as the second-largest beef supplier to the U.S., now overtaken by Mexico. Despite the high tariffs, Brazilian exporters remain competitive in the market.
