According to Central Weather Bureau, at 9:18 AM today in Ren'ai Township, Nantou County, a Richter scale 3.9 earthquake occurred with coordinates of 23.96 degrees north latitude and 121 degrees east longitude, 32.6 kilometers east of Nantou County Government, at a depth of 15.1 kilometers. Nantou County and Taichung City experienced the highest shaking intensity of level 2, while Changhua County, Hualien County, Yunlin County, and Chiayi County felt level 1.
