Central Weather Bureau issued a heavy rain advisory for 16 counties and cities, with possible continuous heavy rain until evening, prompting citizens to stay vigilant. 15 counties and cities are under the heavy rain advisory, while specific areas like Jioufen District in New Taipei City, Sanchong District in New Taipei City, and Wulai District in New Taipei City were issued with a heavy thunderstorm warning. Due to strong convective cloud development in the afternoon, there's a chance of localized heavy rain in areas north of Taoyuan, Nantou, and various mountainous regions, cautioning against lightning, strong gusts, landslides, rockfalls, and flash floods in mountainous areas.
