An altercation between 2 seventy-year-old women on the corner of Linsen North Road and Nongan Street in Taipei's Zhongshan District resulted in one woman being injured with cuts to her fingers by the other woman wielding a fruit knife. Both women were found at the scene, and the injured woman was treated at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. The suspect, a Filipina woman named Chen, claimed that the incident stemmed from a verbal dispute. Police arrived at the scene, detained Chen, and are investigating the case as an assault offense.
