In a recent joint operation between the Fengyuan Police Precinct and the Chiayi City Police Department, a kidnapping for ransom case was cracked. The suspects abducted the victim on the pretext of offering a job at a company, then falsely claimed that the 'introducer absconded with money' and demanded 1.4 million yuan for the victim's release. Within 4 hours, police arrested 5 suspects and rescued the victim. The main suspect, identified with a history of multiple crimes, was detained for investigation on charges of organized crime, deprivation of liberty, and kidnapping for ransom.
