On June 13, 2024, at 11:40 PM, reporter Li Chunmian for the CtiTV news website reported that the Central Region Maintenance Engineering Subdivision of the National Freeway No.4 announced that at 11:03 AM on the 14th, three large trucks collided at the 5K mark towards the west, with one of them carrying sugarcane. The incident has led to a full road closure and a 1-kilometer traffic jam. Drivers are advised to be cautious. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
