Dueto the strong convective cloud system, the Central Weather Bureau issued heavy rain alerts for all of Taiwan's '18 counties and cities'. Various disasters occurred, including a tree snapping at the intersection of Xinyi Road and Section 1 of Jianguo South Road in Xinyi District, Taipei City at 4:35 pm today (8th). This incident led to major traffic congestion, prompting people to report the incident. Emergency responders quickly arrived, with no injuries or vehicle damage reported at the scene.
