In the latest update on the Baolin Tea House poisoning case, a 46-year-old woman being treated in Taipei's Wanhua Hospital passed away at 3:56 pm after undergoing lung surgery this morning due to symptoms like coughing up blood. Despite initially stabilizing after a liver transplant, her condition deteriorated rapidly in the past two days. Taipei City Health Bureau Director Chen Yanyuan confirmed the unfortunate news, bringing the death toll to six in the Baolin Tea House poisoning incident. The Bureau disclosed that out of seven severe patients, six have passed away, and one has been discharged. One critically ill patient transferred to the general ward on June 5 later moved to the ICU on June 10 but succumbed to the illness on June 11 afternoon.
