On June 14, 2024, at 7:30 am, a maintenance facility in Daliao District, Kaohsiung, was shot at with 20 guns. The police formed a special task force and arrested the vehicle owner surnamed Cai (34 years old) in Chiayi that night, followed by the arrest of the accomplice surnamed Pan (30 years old) in Pingtung at 8:30 pm. The case is currently under investigation to determine the motive for the shooting and the source of the firearms. After the shooting incident, the suspects left behind a lot of bullet casings. Investigations are ongoing.
